What Happens After Submission?
After the required documents are submitted, the prescribed fee is deposited with the concerned RTO and civic authority, and other requirements are completed, the authority may grant permission or a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for displaying the advertisement on the vehicle.

The permission can be granted as per the terms & conditions stated below:
- The permission for display of advertisements shall be granted to the owner of the vehicle only.
- The basic document required for submission of application for display of advertisement over a vehicle as stated above.
- In certain states, permission is only available for the display of the non-backlit advertisement.
- In addition to the fee, the advertisement tax shall also be payable in advance for each display.
- The permission is valid only for the period for which the advance fee has been deposited for the particular vehicle.
- The vehicle, for which permission has been granted, shall always carry a certificate of permission issued by the advertisement department.
- The area for advertisement/name/logo shall not exceed 75% of the surface area on each side of the vehicle except the front of the vehicle.
- The permission shall be granted only for the vehicles whose primary purpose is to serve a useful function in the transportation or conveyance of persons or commodities from one place to another.
- No advertisement that is indecent/obscene or offensive to good taste or against public sentiments shall be permissible.
- Display of advertisement shall be in strict adherence to the directions of outdoor advertisement policy of the Supreme Court of India.
- The No Objection Certificate shall be deemed to have been terminated on the completion of the period from the date of issuance unless renewed.
- Permission will be granted subject to adherence of the guidelines on the policy framed by the transport department.
- A No Objection Certificate can be applied for a period of one quarter to a year, and requires renewal every time.
